Be on the lookout for the next wave of leaders God is sending your way.

If you are going to function in a powerful way in terms of raising up leaders consistently, not just a “one-zie” or a “two-zie” here and there, but essentially starting a functional “Leadership Factory," there will be a need to think systemically.

Systemic thinking is certainly what Jesus did and what the Apostles did in the early expansion of the Church though that word will not appear in your concordance.

We are out to win the world to Jesus.

This is not some “those who are called willl find their way” nonsense, the very attitude that puts us on vacation virtually all of the time.

I know this blogging entry is going to tick off many who read today’s point, but this is important stuff.

“God will do what God is going to do, that’s my attitude.” Go ahead and drive forward with your attitude but realize that not only is your attitude thoroughly and completely 180 degrees counter to that of Jesus and 90% of the Church world of today, it doesn’t stand up to the witness of Church history.

I’ve heard this line so many times I’ve grown beyond tired of hearing this.

I ask those of you who hold to this disastrous line of thinking to do this: Take a trip to Scotland for a week or so to tour around the country, especially to meet the people up close. Theories are fine and good, but there’s nothing like seeing up close and personal the effect of a theology upon a society over many generations.  Scotland has been devastated at every conceivable way because of a laissez faire attitude.
