When we feel responsible to produce results we cannot produce — results that are in the God category — something begins to die inside of us. Not one thing but a list of things begin to die within us. Our joy, our spontaneity, to a large degree our love wains. We become the people of burden.

Ours is to relax.
Ours is to allow God to live his life through us.
Ours is to get up each day, to confess that we cannot do a single spiritual thing in the approaching day in our own power, but God — he can and wants to live boldly through us. All we can say is, “Here we are Jesus! Live strongly through us!”
