In order to notice we need to become new kinds of people, the kind who pick up on the little things that most others don’t see, hear, feel.
Here’s how it works.
Jesus spoke of the “main thing” boiling down to this:
1. Love God with all our beings
2. Love our neighbor as ourselves…
In order to succeed in both of these we need to be transformed from where we are now to the next phase of our development. That is, we become “expert noticers.”
If you ponder the above term for a moment, those who succeed wildly in life, all have this skill in common — they notice others very, very well.
Those who do well in life, even those who don’t yet know Jesus, serve others by making them successful. How is this accomplished? They notice little matters going on in their lives — little signals, nearly all of which are unspoken, and they spontaneously meet those needs.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackOh this is funny. I was recently told by a friend of mine in leadership that I noticed too much.
Is that possible?
